Installing CLOCKWORKMOD RECOVERY to XPERIA NEO L

1.Download cwm from download page and you must have rooted Neo L

2. Goto setting->developer options->usb debugging (enable it).

3.Goto  cwm folder and double clik on install cwm and keep your phone's screen on while doing this (if it request super user permission than allow it).

4.After installing reboot your phone and on sony logo keep pressing volume down button to enter into cwm mode.

5.Use volume buttons to move up and down and press home button enter into submenu or execute a command.

6.Congratulations :p .

    admin can u post how to play modern combat 3 on our neo l some one told me to change d build prop setting means change d model no to lt30p all games should work for this settings .......

      no you cannot as of now. may be in future somebody develops method to root neo l directly than its possible

    sir when i tried to go into cwm mode it doesn't work when i press the vol down button.I've tried either holding it and pressing the button many times.Please help

    use root explorer open dn navigate system,long press buildprop open as text editor,find this lines
    ro.product.model=mt25i..change MT25i to lt30p or whatever that suits the game..i changed mine as semc xperia arc s..then reboot,u cn n0w play modern combat 3

      gud u tweak build prop the way u like, but m not into gaming very much, i tweak them for other features.

    I have rooted my xperia neo l. And I was using xparts app for entering to recovery mode. When I tried to change my ROM I got an error, and the zip installation got cancelled. From then, my phone is not booting up. I have taken backup of my previous ROM, But can't enter to the recovery mode. I have tried by holding and pressing the volume down button , but It didn't work. Can anybody help me.

    Hi admin. I rooted my Xperia Neo L as per your instructions. It worked! Thanks. But now, I am facing two issues:
    #1. wifi is not detecting my home network.
    #2. the APN settings page in mobile data is coming up as a blank, and I cannot access mobile data. The sim has been detected and the signal strength is showing but mobile data is not working due to lack of APN details.
